Job Description

Support the implementation of the components of literacy across all curriculum areas. Use an MTSS/RTI model for targeted direct instructional services in literacy to identified students. Record keeping for and analysis of student evaluation and testing data. Provide collaboration consultation modeling planning observation and feedback to teachers in all areas of literacy to reflect best practices in literacy instruction. Lead building-based literacy team and collaborate with classroom teachers support staff Building Principals and ELA Coordinator. Coordinate purchasing of curriculum-aligned materials. Organize maintain and enhance the literacy closet. Work in close partnership with Title One and EL teachers to coordinate services to students efficiently. Performs other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the Building Principal.
