Job Description
Stable & growing low voltage contractor has an immediate need for a skilled CAD Drafter with 1-2 years of experience in AutoCAD to support the design of Electronic Security Systems. This is a huge growth opportunity if desired. This position is open due to continuous growth and you will learn and work with one of the best in the business!
Company works primarily on large integrated projects in the following verticals: Hospitals Fortune 500 Sporting Venues Universities K-12 Schools Utilities Data Centers Distribution Centers Petrochemical and Large Manufacturing/Industrial facilities.
You will be responsible for creating and revising mechanical system drawings from engineer markups coordinating with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and incorporating redlines and field changes into updated plans.
This is a direct hire position from day 1 and offers a competitive salary quarterly bonus excellent health benefits and matching 401k.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and revise mechanical system drawings from engineer markups
Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy
Incorporate redlines and field changes into updated plans
Prepare drawing sets for permits bids and construction
Maintain CAD standards and drawing organization
Requirements:
1-2 years of AutoCAD experience
Knowledge of low voltage systems a plus but not necessary
Ability to read engineering sketches and blueprints
Familiarity with building codes and mechanical standards
CAD certificate or associate degree preferred
