Job Description
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range:
- Provide individualized and group instruction on job readiness skills (e.g. resume writing interview techniques workplace etiquette).
- Accompany students to job sites and provide on-the-job coaching and support.
- Collaborate with teachers counselors and transition specialists to align job coaching with students educational goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and school staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations to secure job placements and internships.
- Assist in developing transition plans and documentation for students with special needs.
- Support students in learning time management communication and problem-solving skills in workplace settings.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and job site evaluations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in education counseling social work or a related field preferred.
- Substitute teaching license or Professional Educators License
- Experience working with high school students especially those with disabilities or special needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
