About the team and the role:
eBay Inc. seeks Senior Product Manager 2 - Technical in San Jose CA
What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Lead experiments to test hypotheses and determine solutions that improve conversion rates and engagement. Collaborate with design engineering and analytics teams to design develop and launch product features that drive growth and engagement. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and objectives. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product features and experiments. Communicate product vision roadmap and progress to partners across the company. Partial telecommuting may be permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Technology Management or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Technology Management or a closely related field plus seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience in technical product management including demonstrated expertise in leading product development managing cross-functional teams and marketplace products (4 years)
2. Experience in building and scaling marketplace platforms including understanding of supply and demand dynamics user acquisition and revenue generation strategies. (4 years)
3. Experience with iOS or Android development frameworks understanding of mobile app architecture and user experience design principles (5 years)
4. Experience working with international markets including building and scaling products tailored for multiple geographies. (2 years)
5. Ability to define the vision strategy and roadmap for a product portfolio by taking into account user pain points and business goals and objectives (5 years)
6. Experience in leveraging SQL to extract clean and analyze large datasets and ability to conduct data analysis translating complex data into actionable insights that drive product strategy (5 years)
7. Experience in designing and executing A/B tests to validate hypotheses and implement solutions to enhance conversion rates and user engagement and using experimental data to iteratively improve product performance and achieve key business objectives (2 years)
8. Experience in creating prototypes and wireframes using tools like Sketch Figma Adobe XD or Balsamiq to visualize and iterate on product concepts (5 years)
9. Experience with SEO principles and best practices including an understanding of keyword research on-page optimization and analytics to enhance organic search visibility and performance (2 years)
10. Experience working in an agile development environment and delivering products iteratively (5 years)
Salary: $99 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
