Lee LabKey Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment events and activities.
Evaluate potential patient eligibility for clinical trials.
Conducts Informed Consent Interviews with participants.
Coordinate study participant visit activities including scheduling procedures communicating with subjects and completing necessary basic study procedures.
Responsible for data collection and protection and entry on projects
Provide written and verbal reports to the Research Program Manager as required.
Assist the Research Program Manager with grant preparation.
Provide administrative support for the Research Program Manager for essential meetings.
Allow for schedule flexibility that may include collecting data consenting participants or performing study duties.
Review necessary research documents such as protocols data collection forms Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation abstracts presentations and manuscripts preparation.
Assure compliance with all relevant IRB and other regulatory agency requirements. Maintain HIPAA compliance per University of Kansas Health System and KUMC institutional policies.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in a basic science or health-related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-by-year basis.
Work Experience:
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
1 year of experience with research or within the healthcare field.
Experience with electronic medical records and working knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and administrative staff.
Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills.

At the University of Kansas Medical Center a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
