CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / Machining Technician required to join a leading aftermarket engineering company based in Pasadena Houston TX.
CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / Machining Technician will be responsible for setting up and operating manual and CNC lathes mills and other shop equipment to support both production and engineering operations in a low-volume high-mix environment. The role involves blueprint interpretation machine maintenance and contributing to quality and safety standards across the facility.
CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / Machining Technician will ideally have experience performing various fundamental machining operations including turning milling drilling and threading on rotating equipment components (compressors turbines pumps and more) and assemblies.

CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / Machining Technician
Role
- Experience operating and monitoring CNC machines for precision and performance.
- Ability to perform mechanical disassembly and re-assembly of various compressor components associated with reciprocating compressors such as piston assemblies cylinders and compressor running gear while using hand tools torque wrenches and hydraulic equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and G-Code with ease.
- Hands-on knowledge of machining processes: turning milling drilling and threading.
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances and producing high-spec parts from detailed technical drawings.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers calipers indicators) and their proper care and calibration.

Requirements
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery with at least 3 years of experience.
- Skilled in working with manual machines and band saws.
- Capable of calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical principles and precision instruments such as micrometers and callipers.
- Competent with hand tools and demonstrates strong basic mechanical aptitude.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
