Step into the spotlight as a Production Specialistat the Coppell Arts Center where your technical expertise brings performances and exhibitions to life. In this role youll coordinate and operate audio video lighting and staging for a wide variety of events promoted throughout the DFW area and beyond. Youll guide crews act as Manager on Duty during events and collaborate with artists touring professionals and staff to ensure seamless execution. Pay Plan
This opportunity is exempt and on Pay Grade #9.The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade.Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.
Hiring Range:$23.28 ($48423)Min $23.28 ($48423)
Mid $28.51 ($59308)
Max $33.75 ($70193)
Knowledge of technical operations methods materials practices and procedures related to technical theater productions
Knowledge of safety protocols and potential hazards associated with theater production environments
Knowledge of system operation and support for theater audio video lighting rigging and dimming control systems
Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of power tools
Knowledge of industry standards for safety across all technical theater disciplines (audio lighting rigging staging video automation)
Skills
Skilled in planning prioritizing and executing technical production tasks effectively
Skilled in using a personal computer and a variety of software applications for reporting correspondence and documentation
Skilled in communicating clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with City officials employees and the public
Abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with Arts Center staff touring production teams guest artists Resident Company members and rental clients
Ability to work safely in potentially hazardous environments involving high voltage heights and overhead rigging
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as required by essential job functions
Ability to perform routine and repetitive office tasks efficiently
