ADJUNCT - BIOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at Bridgewater College invites applications from candidates with expertise in human anatomy for an adjunct position that will begin in August 2025. Successful candidates will be expected to teach two courses; Human Anatomy which consists of one lecture and two labs and a lecture-only Human Anatomy and Physiology. These courses service Biology and Health and Exercise Science majors.
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of an MS in Biology Health Science or closely related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate level biology coursework is required. Experience teaching and/or practice of human anatomy concepts is highly recommended.
GENERAL INFORMATION:Bridgewater College was founded in 1880 as a coeducational liberal arts college to serve the local community. Located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley just minutes outside of Harrisonburg and within driving distance of Charlottesville Washington D.C. and Richmond Bridgewater is home to approximately 1400 full-time students from 26 states and 19 countries. Bridgewater students study across 60 majors and minors in addition to four graduate programs and 10 pre-professional programs.
