Private Patient Coordinator

Role overview

Were looking for aproactive and personable Private Patient Coordinatorto join our friendly team atCheshire Oaks working25 - 40 hours per weekacross 5 days (weekdays only).

Your main focus will be growing our private patient base by building strong relationships with local businesses opticians and healthcare providers to drive referrals and promote our services.

Youll be the face of Newmedica in the community - confidently representing our clinic spotting new opportunities and helping us grow as a trusted name in eye care. If youre self-motivated innovative and thrive on making meaningful connections we want to hear from you.

Empathy and people skills are essential. Eye surgery can be daunting so we need someone whos warm reassuring and able to put patients at ease. Youll also support patients through their journey - booking appointments handling correspondence and keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Were particularly keen to hear from individuals who areexperienced in dealing with peopleand bring athoughtful grounded approachto their work. If youre someone who has anatural ability to connect with others offer reassurance and communicate clearly and confidently wed love to hear from you. Beingreliable having a great work ethic and understanding how to make people feel at ease are key qualities we value in this role.

What skills and experience do I need

Well provide full training but the following experience and qualities will be advantageous:

  • Healthcare or service industry background would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a customer or patient-facing role
  • A confident communicator with a passion for relationship-building and service promotion
  • Comfortable handling sensitive conversations and offering reassurance
  • Confident juggling admin tasks in a busy setting
  • Proficient in Office 365 and quick to learn new systems
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong work ethic
  • Experience of working in a customer service-based environment and a passion for delivering excellent service and care over the telephone via written communication and face to face
  • Experience of managing complaints or challenging situations and providing solutions to resolve issues.
  • Experience in promoting services or building relationships with external partners such as opticians or healthcare providers with the confidence to represent the organisation in a professional and engaging manner.
