Location: Hounslow West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025
Are you a Maths Physics or Engineering graduate looking to work as a STEM Graduate Tutor this September
A well-regarded secondary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint a STEM Graduate Tutor to support pupils in Maths and Science. This STEM Graduate Tutor role is perfect for graduates eager to gain valuable classroom experience ahead of applying for teacher training or a PGCE.
In this STEM Graduate Tutor role you will deliver focused academic support to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Youll run small group and 1:1 interventions assist with lesson preparation and help during practical science lessons.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in Maths and Science lessons
- Running targeted small group and 1:1 interventions
- Assisting teachers with lesson resources and practical tasks
- Monitoring pupil progress alongside teaching staff
- Inspiring pupils interest in STEM subjects
Were looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in a STEM-related degree
- Strong academic ability and clear communication skills
- An interest in education and working with young people
- Commitment for the full academic year
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees even with a UK Masters. Sponsorship is not available so applicants must have UK citizenship or settled status.
