You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe successful candidate will be involved in the clinical and academic activities of the movement disorders group at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Clinical duties will focus on caring for patients with movement disorders in the outpatient clinic. Other clinical responsibilities (shared with all members of the Division) include: participation in the overnight and weekend neurology on call rota (including acute stroke management) approximately twice per month with a resident physician occasional coverage of the inpatient general neurology service supported by a nurse practitioner the inpatient neurology consultation service and the daytime neurology emergency call service. The successful candidate will also participate in undergraduate and postgraduate neurology teaching as requested.
Qualifications :
Candidates must hold FRCPC (or equivalent) certification in Neurology and must have completed a minimum one-year fellowship in movement disorders. Candidates must be eligible for specialty licensure in Nova Scotia.
