What is the opportunity

The role is under Global Securitys Strategic Services at RBC. You will be coaching cyber/digital security teams help the team focus on sprint goals and to achieve their highest performance level to ensure sprints/projects are successful. This role is hands-on and not just creating content working in performance management product management and team level all through an Agile Way of Working. Youll work with 2 (on average) specialized departments comprised of supervisors managers professionals and/or large numbers of operational support employees/contractors.

What will you do:

  • Hands-On and Coach with seeking and tracking of OKRs and KPIs in a cyber/digital security world.

  • Implement KPI frameworks to align product iteration and project outcomes with goals enabling data-driven decisions that improve delivery efficiency and performance visibility.

  • Hands-on and coach the team to apply appropriate Agile processes (running Scrum/Kanban master/manager when needed etc) including working with tools (Jira and confluence.)

  • Fostering self-organization and collaborative team; sheltering the team from outside distractions to keep focus mainly on the agreed goals.

  • Ensuring Agile principles and approaches are understood correctly by the development team and stakeholders maximizing the performance of the team.

  • Run and facilitate progress / status sessions giving key stakeholders updates on PI/product/project updates.

What do you need to succeed

Must have:

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter that takes initiative and drive results independently in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience supporting medium to high complex initiatives in a big firm consulting group and/or enterprise environment.

  • Bachelors degree in business Finance Strategy or a related field (Masters degree strongly preferred)

  • Experience conducting training workshops for members of agile teams as well as leadership of those teams

  • Proven experience guiding multiple teams/programs simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information and develop actionable strategies

  • Adept at conflict resolution to achieve positive outcomes. Ability to lead without authority

  • One or more certification: Agile Scrum SAFe or Agile-PMP

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with data management and analytics

  • Advance Understanding of Cyber/Digital Security

  • Product management
