About the role

As the programs producer you will be responsible for planning and delivering public-facing programs supporting artist activities and coordinating the day-to-day operations at PAS. Reporting to the Director of PAS you will play a key role in connecting the community with contemporary arts whilst ensuring the studio programs and facilities run effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop program and deliver public programs including workshops activities tours talks and events based at PAS or in other locations.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners required to deliver public programs.
  • Identify and coordinate media marketing and promotional opportunities for public programs.
  • Coordinate the operation and maintenance of the PAS facilities.

About You
The successful candidate will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Art Museum Studies Communications Events Management or equivalent competencies.
  • Experience in a variety of settings such as galleries museums artists studios visitor services hospitality and venue management.
  • Experience in the planning and delivery of innovative public programs within an arts environment.
  • Excellent communication skills interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a creative environment to program and take responsibility for multiple projects and competing demands.

Permanent Part-Time Position 4 days per week
We are offering an attractive remuneration Pro Rata from $87851 to $96771 plus 12% superannuation.
