Reporting to the Manager of Inventory Optimization you will play a key role in optimizing revenue across a portfolio of routes. As a Senior Analyst in Revenue Management you will leverage data-driven insights market intelligence and system tools to drive strategic decisions and support the development of a next-generation Revenue Management system. This role is critical to achieving key performance targets such as revenue per available seat mile (RASM) load factor and yield.
Responsibilities
- Route Revenue Optimization: Manage a portfolio of routes applying strategic levers and market insights to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Monitor booking trends demand forecasts and competitive dynamics to identify revenue opportunities and mitigate risks.
- System Management: Calibrate and validate Revenue Management system inputs and outputs to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with market conditions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze KPIs such as RASK load factor and yield; adjust strategies based on performance insights.
- Customer Behavior Insights: Develop a deep understanding of customer booking patterns and price sensitivity to inform pricing and inventory strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with RMS Pricing and other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive and aligned strategies.
- Process & Tool Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of RM processes methodologies and decision-support tools.
- Innovation & Initiative: Identify and propose innovative approaches to revenue optimization in a fast-paced evolving environment.
- Knowledge Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on specific tools or topics; mentor peers and support onboarding of new team members.
Qualifications :
- Education & Experience: University degree in a relevant field or 35 years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of airline Revenue Management systems (e.g. PROS is an asset).
- Analytical Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive approach to teamwork.
- Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced constantly evolving environment.
- Innovative Thinking: Creative curious and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
- Oral and written fluency in French and English *
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
