About the Role
We are seeking multipleSoftware Engineers (Developers)to join a dynamic team delivering innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing building integrating and supporting software systems that meet complex business requirements in a fast-paced agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate software using agile methodologies.
- Engage with stakeholders to refine user requirements.
- Document technical processes and promote knowledge sharing.
- Enhance automation capabilities and integrate COTS/GOTS software.
- Translate logical designs into physical implementations.
- Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and produce detailed design documentation.
Technical Environment Includes:
- Languages/Frameworks: Python Java JavaScript/TypeScript J2EE Django Ruby
- Tools: Kubernetes OpenShift Puppet Ansible Docker React
- Services: RESTful APIs Java Messaging Service
The Successful Candidate
You will bring strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset with experience across several software engineering domains.
Essential Criteria (SFIA Level 34):
- Programming/software development
- Specialist advice
- Systems design
- System software
- Testing
- Systems integration and build
Whats On Offer
- Contract Duration:12 months with two 12-month extension options
- Locations:Canberra ACT Brisbane QLD Melbourne VIC or Perth WA
- Work Arrangements:Full-time (40 hours/week) with potential for flexible arrangements
- Travel:Minimal to none

SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 3.
Security Requirements: Our client requires a minimum NV1 security Clearance however an active or reinstatable TSPV security clearance is strongly preferred. Candidate will be expected to complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) will be required for this position.
