What Youll Do in This Role:

Join our team as a Facility Support - Custodian where your work directly contributes to creating a safe clean and welcoming home for the seniors we serve. In this essential role youll go beyond routine cleaning and maintenanceyoull help ensure our participants feel comfortable respected and cared for in every interaction.
At the heart of a warm and vibrant PACE location youll take pride in maintaining a beautiful environment where older adults can thrive. This role ensures the overall cleanliness maintenance and safety of the facility creating a welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of rooms offices and furnishings
- Sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures mirrors and windows
- Maintain clean floors using sweeping mopping waxing and disinfecting methods
- Vacuum shampoo and disinfect carpets and upholstered furniture
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties
- Set up and take down tables chairs and equipment for indoor and outdoor functions
- Dispose of waste and trash
- Ensure facility grounds and buildings are maintained
What Youll Need:
- Previous experience in custodial work in a hospital nursing home school or similar environment is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods equipment and safety protocols required.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift move and carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
