As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Self-Service Enablement team you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of agentic applications using LLMs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design build and deploy scalable and resilient applications
- Ensure strong observability and monitoring of applications to maintain high performance and reliability
- Deploy applications on AWS ensuring optimal configuration and security
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Self-Service Enablement team
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Proficient programming skills in at least one language such as Java or Python
- In-depth knowledge of agentic applications using LLMs
- Experience in deploying applications on AWS
- Proven track record in building and designing scalable resilient applications with strong observability
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
5 plus years of experience in software development and leadership roles
- Exposure to Agentic frameworks such as (Langchain Langgraph RASA Parlant Decagon etc.)
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation
- Familiarity with modern development practices and tools
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
