Join a dynamic team supporting MinneapolisSaint Paul (MSP) International Airport and the Metropolitan Airports Commissions six Reliever Airports as the Manager of Asset Management. This key role will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive asset management program that supports airport operations by optimizing the lifecycle of tools equipment vehicles facilities and airfield assets. This position will establish performance standards develop KPIs and guide maintenance teams in preventive and corrective strategies that promote efficiency reliability and cost-effective operations. This position plays a critical role in capital planning budget preparation and cross-departmental coordination ensuring safe sustainable and seamless operations.
In support of operations at the MinneapolisSaint Paul (MSP) International Airport and the Metropolitan Airports Commissions (MAC) six Reliever Airports the incumbent is responsible for developing planning implementing and managing a comprehensive asset management program. This program encompasses inventory consumables tools airfield assets maintenance equipment vehicles facilities and related systems maintained by MAC maintenance teams including assets added through the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and other capital planning and purchasing processes.
The incumbent makes informed decisions regarding preventive and corrective maintenance measures that impact the organization develops key performance indicators (KPIs) and establishes a framework for staff to conduct asset inventory assessments to optimize asset lifecycle management by maximizing useful life and minimizing asset failures.
This position is responsible for determining asset performance standards that promote operational efficiency and effectiveness for both management and staff. Additional responsibilities include preparing and administering operating and capital equipment budgets and representing the departments in presentations to the MAC Board of Commissioners.
The incumbent must possess a thorough knowledge of airport maintenance and trades functions as well as an understanding of the critical interactions between MAC departments FAA divisions airlines airport tenants and other agencies to ensure coordinated and efficient airport operations.
This is a safety-sensitive position which will require a pre-employment drug screen.
This position is eligible for variable incentive pay of 0-10% of total compensation depending on annual organizational performance. Some eligibility requirements apply.
