Job Description
Shenandoah Universitys School of Business is accepting applications a Faculty of Information Systems & Technology This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester Virginia.
The School of Business at Shenandoah University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Information Systems & Technology. The position is at the rank of assistant or associate professor and will begin in August 2025. The School of Business is accredited by AACSB International. The School offers the Bachelor of Business Administration and the Master of Business Administration degrees.

Position Responsibilities:
Teach 18 credit hours of undergraduate and/or graduate level coursesrequiring Information Systems-related expertise; produce high qualityscholarship; perform service to the School of Business and the University
Required Skills
Required Education Experience - Skills:
Applicants must hold a PhD (or be near completion) in InformationSystems Computer Information Systems Business Computer InformationSystems or a related field. Applicants who earned their educationalcredentials more than five years ago must meet the Schools criteria for theScholarly Academic (SA) status. New doctoral graduates (or those nearingcompletion) must demonstrate appropriate progress toward achievingScholarly Academic status by the end of the fifth year after programcompletion. Candidates must be qualified to teach at both theundergraduate and graduate level. Evidence of strong instructional skills isdesired. Practical industry experience entrepreneurship teaching inexecutive education and certifications from recognized professionalsocieties are highly valued. Candidates meeting the above criteria areencouraged to provide evidence of the following if applicable:professional experience; cross-disciplinary collaboration; internationalexperience; experiential learning activities; academic program leadership(or interest therein). Ability to teach cybersecurity management AI-related coursework and/or projectmanagement is a plus.
