The Opportunity
WSDOT is currently seeking a Capital Improvement and Preservation Program Engineer(TE2) to support the Lacey Program Management departments goals of sustaining credibility by maintaining and reporting accurate information in The Capital System about project milestones accomplishments and changes. This is accomplished by learning from successes helping with challenges that affect project control and delivery of the regions construction program and exchanging up to date project information to promote accountability and better management of change. As a Capital Improvement and Preservation Program Engineer this position reports to the Project Delivery and Reporting Supervisor who reports to the Program Development and Delivery Manager. This position is critical to WSDOTs long-term success by ensuring that project budgets and schedules are analyzed in accordance with policy.
This position directly supports the agency strategic plan and goal areas by leading a workplace that supports and promotes training and development for professional growth and upward mobility creating influencing and fostering a physically and psychologically safe workplace where all employees feel that they belong and ensuring through adherence to WSDOT policies that the maintenance and preservation of assigned roadways and assets are administered to the expected quality safety and stewardship standards to support Washingtons long-term resilience.
