Job Title
Plant 80 Shipping / Receiving Clerk II Shift 2Position Overview
Position Objective:
To remove processed carpet from the Finishing line in specified rolls as consistently as it is produced and to insure proper wrapping for shipment.
Procedure:
Operate Shopflex computer program.
Operate the rollup head while getting directions from Shopflex
Cut out all seams and any defects as inspection directs
Indicate the proper roll length on computer screen and tickets.
Operate and maintain equipment safely
Identify any issues and report them to supervisor
Review the comments section on the Shopflex screen before making the cutSometimes it is necessary for the clerk to deviate from the cut plan.(Rollup gets behind/ Mechanical issues)
Relay carpet grades from inspection and correctly ID the roll in Shopflex.
The cut should be made through the label when used to identify the location on a defect.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to:
Stand for long periods of time
Withstand temperatures in excess of 100 degrees
Other Requirements:
Must be able to:
Read and write to Shopflex ticket for footage tracking
Operate Roll-Up Console
Communicate with 2-way radio
Operate Intermec Ticket Printer
