Welder and Fabricator
SUMMARY
Full Time: 5:30am -4:00pm M-Thurs; FridaysOT (depending on production needs)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform efficient and quality MIG welding ofvarious metal thicknesses on carbon steel
Analyze drawings specifications sketches workorders assembly and welding operations
Set up and adjust MIG welding and cuttingequipment
Report all non-conforming material to the areaSupervisor and/or Shop Foreman immediately
Perform work with the help of various hand andpower tools (drills grinders sanders etc.)
Maintain weld equipment and supplies in anexcellent and safe operating condition
Complete paperwork/job sheets required for area
Possess a solid understanding of welding equipmentand welding accessories
Ability and willingness to follow instructions aswell as the ability to work independently
Certified forklift operator is a PLUS
Ability to use tape measure layout out and setassemblies
Ability to meet production standards
Maintain good attendance record and be able towork overtime as required
Maintain good safety record
Maintain positive attitude
QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced MIG welder
Requires limited supervision to perform tasksassigned
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use tape measure layout out and setassemblies
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructionsshort correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groupsituations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Depending on job classification may require basicmath and/or tape measure reading
Depending on job classification may require abilityto add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using wholenumbers common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a fewvariables in standardized situations.
