Job Description
Are you motivated detail-oriented and analytical
Join our dynamic team where your expertise in accounts payable will ensure the compliance of our Visa transactions with SOX standards and our internal procedures.
What you will do daily:
- Review and analyze Visa reports to identify anomalies or non-compliance ensuring adherence to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
- Maintain control and analysis files ensuring rigorous follow-up on corrective actions with operations.
- Perform BU and GL corrections analyze variances in gross profit and report significant errors with financial or operational impact to relevant partners.
- Propose improvements to internal controls and share your knowledge by providing guidance and training on best compliance practices.
- Collaborate closely with financial and operational teams to quickly and effectively resolve identified issues.
- Work in partnership with internal auditors to provide required samples and respond to their inquiries during audits.
Qualifications :
To join our team you need:
- Degree in accounting or a related field with a minimum of 3 years experience in accounts payable or matching in a high-volume environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English essential for effective collaboration with our teams across Canada.
