Reporting to the Senior Controls Testing Manager the Global ICFR Testing Manager will drive the testing methodology including the risk assessment planning and execution of assurance activity over critical financial control across the Experian global business.
In collaboration with the ICFR Finance Controls team the Manager will be responsible for developing and executing control testing plans and for communicating gaps in controls following Experian risk management. The Manager will also partner with other assurance functions across the first second and third line of defense. You will manage a team of controls testing leads and analysts to ensure efficient use of testing resources.
What you will do:
- Drive the identification and prioritization of testing activities as part of the assurance planning process.
- Oversee control test planning and execution coordinating with stakeholders and managing testing analysts.
- Draft reports on findings and align proposed actions with business owners.
- Present findings to senior managers of the business and the relevant risk management forums
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to identify opportunities to use high-quality data analytics within testing teams.
- Ensure compliance of the testing team with the assurance methodology.
- Maintain the risk universe to guide test planning prioritization and reporting.
Qualifications :
What youll need to bring:
- Professional finance or accounting qualification ACA/ACCA or equivalent including either an audit background (be that external or internal audit) and corporate experience in an assurance internal controls or risk position
- 5-7 years experience in an audit and accounting firm
- Strong Excel skills
- An understanding of IT systems and operations
- An approach that promotes collaboration and consultation
- Ability to identify main risks and improvements in the control environment
- Familiar with queries report writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work in a multinational environment.
