Are you ready to join a dynamic and ambitious team Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for an experienced and proactive Customer Service & Logistics Specialist to support our mRNA Supply Chain organization. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of making the world healthier cleaner and safer!

Responsibilities:

  • Primary Supply Chain Point of Contact for Clients:
    Act as the main interface with our customers for all supply chain-related topics. Participate in regular client meetings to discuss material requirements shipment status and any operational updates. Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships through effective and proactive communication.
  • Inbound Shipments for the mRNA Department:
    Oversee inbound logistics on behalf of the mRNA department. Collaborate with the Trade Compliance team for document reviews and work closely with freight partners and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Outbound Shipments Management:
    Prepare all relevant shipping documents and manage outbound shipments ensuring accuracy and timely communication with logistics partners to meet deadlines.
  • CAPEX Management:
    Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) activities within the supply chain area tracking budgets and investments related to infrastructure and equipment.
  • Client Invoicing:
    Ensure timely and accurate invoicing upon delivery of goods and services keeping documentation clear and processes efficient.
  • Back Office Activities:
    Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • mRNA QC Shipments Coordination:
    Coordinate mRNA quality control (QC) shipments by engaging with freight forwarders obtaining quotations aligning warehouse operations and managing purchase orders for carrier services to guarantee on-time delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven customer-facing experience ( 3 years) with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid background ( 3 years) in import/export operations including customs and shipping documentation.
  • Fluent English speaker able to communicate confidently and build rapport with international clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel Outlook PowerPoint Word)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment with a sense of urgency and ownership.
