Job Description
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm

How will you make an impact
Supervise and develop the Quality Control Technicians (QCT) so they have the opportunity to achieve their own career goals and find their full potential and vocational satisfaction. This position will work in a 24hr production facility. In short this position requires the person accepting the role to supervise train mentor problem solve participate in and lead a team.
What will you do
- Direct QCTs (daily supervision) by establishing direction; distributing workload; and providing clear communication.
- Advise the daily QC workload to ensure schedule completion while managing utilization and efficiency.
- Ensure QC new-hires comply with all safety GMP and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for supervision and training of QCTs on correcting resolving and closing manufacturing non-conformances
- Develop and train on Trackwise CAPA Management RCA RCCM PPI work procedures and quality requirements as applicable.
- Develop direct reports by effectively using the PMD (Performance Management Discussion) process and offer clear and constructive feedback
- Managing & Measuring work by supervising and assigning responsibilities for tasks; set clear objectives and provide feedback.
- Develop a focused QC workforce that adheres to all procedures and Work Instruction Documents
- Improve the quality and production processes by applying the tools outlined in PPI (Practical Process Improvement)
- Assist with customer audits form control and onboarding tasks
- Cooperate/Collaborate with Production Supervisors/Managers and Quality Supervisors/Managers
- Personally adhere to the work schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Personally comply with company regulatory requests while assuring/encouraging
- Personally adhere to Safety Policy Site and Company polices QMS CGMP CGDP and assure/encourage the QCTs do likewise.
- Display a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed and encourage the QCTs to do the same.
How will you get here
Education:
- Minimum required education: Bachelors degree (in a science or engineering related field preferred)
Experience
- 2 years of prior leadership experience
- Quality background required (inspection/ quality control)
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel Word Access Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to optimally communicate critical information.
- Good problem solving and reasoning skills to take care of problems varying in complexity relative to job level.
