Job Description
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the universitys annual giving program and donor growth initiatives. This position provides high-level administrative operational and project support to the Annual Giving team. Responsibilities include managing schedules and meetings ensuring data accuracy coordinating projects and campaigns and supporting budget processes. The Project Coordinator collaborates closely with the Director of Annual Giving team members and colleagues in marketing communications advancement services and finance to ensure the success of fundraising efforts and donor engagement strategies.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated success providing administrative support in a professional office environment.
Experience in managing correspondence scheduling and project coordination.
Documented experience with budget tracking or financial process management including monitoring expenditures or reconciling invoices.
Proven organizational skills with a documented track record of maintaining accuracy and attention to detail across multiple tasks or workflows.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (including Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) with examples of practical application in a work setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills evidenced by the creation of professional correspondence reports or presentations.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced work environment.
Evidence of independent problem-solving and critical thinking including examples of taking initiative to resolve issues or improve processes.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment with experience contributing to shared goals and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Demonstrated experience working in higher education nonprofit fundraising or advancement with a clear understanding of organizational structures and donor engagement practices.
Experience working with CRM or donor databases such as Blackbaud including data entry report generation or record management.
Documented experience performing data entry data validation and/or quality assurance ensuring accuracy and integrity of records.
Proven proficiency with advanced computer applications including demonstrated use of project management platforms such as Asana Trello or similar tools to track progress and support team collaboration.
