Job Description
TITLE: CLINIC PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: CLINIC PHARMACIST
CONTROLLING SUPERVISOR: HEALTH DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for checking in all drug orders and placing into inventory on shelves and in the computer system.
- Respond to the requests of patients and healthcare providers answering their questions and referring to pharmacist when appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Processing prescriptions electronically and ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
- Operate the pharmacy computer system including patient and pharmaceutical data input report generation and other reporting requirements.
- Supporting pharmacists by assembling stocking and distributing medications.
- Comply with rules regulations and procedures put in place by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the pharmacist.
