Olympic College is recruiting for several part-time Security Guard positions at various campuses. The Security Guard maintains campus security by inspecting of buildings and grounds. Part-time positions at the college are open continuous and reviewed on a quarter-by-quarter basis. Individuals who apply to the applicant pool are considered active for a period of 12 months from the application date and may be contacted when vacancies occur. Hourly employees must work480 hoursin a rolling six-month period to become eligible for health benefits. Hourly employees must work70 hoursinany fivemonths for two consecutive years to become eligible for retirement.This is an hourly position scheduled to work up to 18 hours per week with a salary of $21.43.They are not initially eligible for benefits upon hire but could qualify for the following.
This is a part-time classified position. All classified positions will start their salary at StepA when you have completed six months of probation you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists and this position is covered by the Washington PublicEmployeesAssociate (WPEA) Union. Classified positions qualify for the following benefits:
