Job Skills / Requirements
Guardteck Security is looking for a Full-Time Security guard in Surrey BC.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Must have a valid BC Security License
- Must have a valid OFA 1 certificate
- Must have at least 6 months of security experience
- Demonstrated customer service experience preferably in a fast-paced or challenging environment
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy discretion and professionalism
- Must be comfortable interacting with individuals experiencing homelessness
- Understanding and consideration of individuals with medical or mental health conditions
- Compliance with all on-site policies and procedures
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing respectful and effective service to all clients and visitors
- Addressing inquiries concerns or incidents in a calm and professional manner
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment on site
- Reporting and documenting incidents or concerns in accordance with protocol
- Collaborating with other team members and support services as needed
