Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defenses constructive disruptor for space acquisition SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development fielding and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Sr. Contracts Specialist to support SDAs mission. Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Government contracting officer with the solicitation evaluation negotiation and award of contracts including Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and services for the Space Development Agency (SDA).
• Assist the Government Contracting Officer with the administration of contracts and agreements by assuring compliance with the terms and conditions including resolution of problems concerning the obligations and duties of the parties.
• Assist the Government Contracting Officer with terminating contracts and agreements by analyzing negotiating and settling claims and proposals.
• Perform cost analysis of performer/offeror proposals submitted to SDA to determine cost reasonableness.
• Plan establish and/or review contracts programs policies or procedures.
• Assist with the development of acquisition strategies and managing of source selections.
• Perform other duties as needed in support of the PWSA Ground Program (PGP) Director and Ground & Launch Cell Director (coordinate meetings briefings etc.).
• Develop internal briefing material as directed by the government team.
• Develop external facing products with high standard and attention to detail (briefings emails etc.)
• Support product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams (i.e. Government Military SETA FFRDC UARC & Industry)

• Bachelors Degree with relevant experience
• 3 years experience with FAR/DFARS RDT&E contracts service contracts and/or OTAs
• Contract cost & pricing analysis
• Prior experience supporting space system development or the Department of Defense
• Hands-on proficiency using Microsoft Office tools principally Excel and Power Point
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Creative thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in an extremely fast paced organization with little guidance/supervision
• TS with SCI eligibility; #qinetiqclearedjob

• Proficiency with contracting tools principally CON-IT
• Advanced proficiency using computational tools such as Microsoft Excel
• Experience with EVM and Award Fee Contracts
