This is a hands-on player/coach role that supports Corporate IT and Security operations with a strong focus on BPO tech support and people management in India. You will be responsible for day-to-day technical work (80%) while also providing light-touch managerial oversight (20%) for Security & IT personnel in India across both Security and IT teams.
Youll be the go-to for resolving tickets from internal users and frontline BPO support covering endpoint troubleshooting access issues and system outages across global sites. Your responsibilities include SLA adherence identifying systemic issues and driving operational improvements that boost availability and productivity.
Youll collaborate closely with Security Engineering and Ops leadership to maintain stable secure and scalable systems tailored to high-volume BPO environments. Youll own documentation and automation efforts enforce global security standards and ensure consistent operational practices across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues across macOS and Windows endpoints
Manage identity and access via Okta Azure AD and MDM platforms (Jamf Intune)
Own Tier 12 escalations close tickets with speed and accuracy and document solutions
Identify and address recurring issues through root cause analysis and long-term fixes
Enforce and audit security privacy and compliance standards (MFA encryption endpoint posture)
Partner with global Security and Engineering to implement secure-by-default configurations
Drive and maintain IT documentation runbooks and knowledge base content
Lead local execution of BCP/DR plans and ensure endpoint readiness
Deliver technical updates and training to regional teams and global stakeholders
Manage and mentor junior IT staff in India: set goals review work quality provide feedback
Provide light-touch local management of India-based team members across both Corporate IT and Platform Security functions to maintain execution velocity and operational consistency
Coordinate workload distribution and ensure global standards are consistently applied
Act as point of escalation and communication bridge between India-based staff and global leadership
You Bring
46 years of enterprise IT experience with a proven ability to support high-scale operations
3 years of management experience
Experience managing or mentoring junior IT staff in a distributed team environment
Proficiency in managing and securing macOS and Windows environments
Hands-on experience with Okta Azure AD Intune and Jamf
Strong understanding of endpoint hardening access control and compliance requirements
Ability to prioritize and execute with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations
Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools is a plus
Strong process ownership and a bias for action
Reporting Structure
Dotted-line reports to Corporate IT and Security leads
Functional alignment to India Operations leadership for local coordination and oversight
Location & Hours
This role is based in India and will require periodic coordination with global teams in other time role is based in India.
Working Hours: Candidates are expected to be available and actively working until at least 12:00 PM ET / 9:30 PM IST to ensure effective collaboration across global teams.
