The Company:
A leading industrial manufacturer of HVACproducts are looking to add a Contracts Manager to join their business. You will not only join a leader in the field but a company who has been established for four decades and invests in long term relationships and are committed to career development. One example of their commitment is their growth across the globe in the last 20 years they have expanded from a UK based manufacturer now with sites across Asia and North America with the UK base being the heart of their manufacturing.
The Position:
In the role of Contracts Manager you will oversee and manage the successful execution of projects from the Purchase Order stage through to final delivery invoicing and payment. This is a Senior position within a specialist organisation which is crucial in ensuring smooth project delivery while managing a team of professionals fostering business development and ensuring operational excellence. This is a role that offers the opportunity to Senior Leadership with a direct route to a Directors position.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate will come from a HVAC manufacturing background or from the following industries renewables marine nuclear oil and gas or power generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales and Proposals teams on major projects to understand project costs design specifications and customer requirements
- Support and guide the project team from bid/quote clarification phase through to job handover upon receipt of orders.
- Oversee and manage the workloads of the Project Management team
- Ensure all necessary documentation drawings designs work instructions cost amendments and invoicing are created and delivered for the successful completion of projects
- Act as the formal point of contact for clients addressing queries issues complaints and changes. Resolve potential issues that could delay projects or affect profitability
- Liaise with senior management to provide regular updates on project progress and financial health
What Were Looking For:
- Commercial/Contractsbackgrounddealing with the full cycle from purchaseorderstagethroughtoinvoicingandpayment
- Essential to come from an Industrial Manufacturing background
- Ideally come from one of these industries - HVAC Oil & Gas Petrochem Renewables Chemical Energy Nuclear
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Outstanding dynamic leader
