Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are produced using ZEISS technologies. As the centerpiece of every electronically controlled system they have become an integral part of our everyday lives whether in smartphones smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics photomask systems and process control solutions ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller increasingly powerful and more energy-efficient microchips and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.
Our high-tech measurement systems for semiconductor lithography are characterized by extreme demands on measurement performance. This performance is essentially achieved by optical components at the highest level. Nevertheless remaining manufacturing tolerances lead to almost insurmountable accuracy limits. At ZEISS your new challenge is to break through these limits using innovative software solutions.
Your role
Your role will be pivotal in integrating these into our products enhancing their overall performance and accuracy. You will take on the responsibility for the software development of our DUV systems. This includes identifying and negotiating development requirements with both internal and external stakeholders. You will coordinate complex interfaces while leveraging your strong technical understanding of the product. Additionally you will oversee the development progress ensuring that software solutions align with the product vision and meet the high standards required for our systems.
Your profile
a very successfully completed degree in physics computer science engineering or applied mathematics
intensive experience and deep understanding of cyber physical systems interaction legacy system maintenance and optimization
several years of professional experience in product management as a project manager or product owner in a SCRUM team ideally in the field of software development in the semiconductor industry
excellent communication and negotiation skills very good assertiveness and team spirit
very good English skills are a plus
great passion to successfully solve complex and difficult problems independently and as part of a team
