The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced enrolled nurse to join our General Medical and Surgical team on the McGregor Ward. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a fast-paced work environment. Requires a bright bubbly personality and positive culture. McGregor Ward is a 32-bed medical/surgical ward that sees a range of surgical specialities: Urology ENT Bariatrics Colorectal & General Surgical cases.
An opportunity to join a vibrant nursing team and experience caring for patients with varied presentations in both medical and surgical cohorts.
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum of 12 months relevant post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Enrolled nurses will be medication endorsed and IV qualified.
- Strong Clinical Skill set.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with care and attention to detail.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $35.78 - $39.96 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6).
