The Job:
As a Senior Manager of Product Design youll be part of our Corporate Information Technology team working as a remote employee. We are seeking a visionary yet hands-on Senior Manager of Product Design to lead the exploration design and validation of innovative digital experiences. This strategic role sits at the intersection of design technology and business ensuring that our products are not only user-centered and visually engaging but also aligned with measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines a designers craft with a product thinkers mindsetdriving the creative process from customer insight to digital impact. This leader will champion design-led discovery foster AI-enabled experimentation and cultivate a culture of continuous innovation to deliver high-performing digital solutions that drive growth and differentiation. Exploration & Innovation
- Lead early-stage concepting design sprints and opportunity framing.
- Integrate AI and generative tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping.
- Promote a culture of iterative design experimentation and learning.
Digital Product Design Leadership
- Define and execute a modern scalable design strategy across platforms.
- Partner cross-functionally to align design outcomes with customer needs and business goals.
- Ensure a consistent high-quality design language throughout the product ecosystem.
Design Systems & Operational Excellence
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design system focused on speed coherence and accessibility.
- Streamline design workflows with AI-enabled tools and automation.
- Improve collaboration and design-to-dev handoffs through systemized practices.
Team Development & Mentorship
- Inspire mentor and grow a multidisciplinary product design team.
- Set clear expectations foster ownership and build an inclusive team culture.
- Facilitate professional development and creative growth.
Data-Informed Product Thinking
- Use research insights usability data and analytics to drive design decisions.
- Lead A/B testing and AI-driven prototyping to validate ideas at speed.
- Align design initiatives with KPIs such as conversion engagement retention and velocity.
The Person:
You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. Youre not intimidated by innovation. Wouldnt it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good In fact you embrace it. You also have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Design HCI or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of digital product design experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of turning complex problems into intuitive and elegant digital solutions.
- Expertise in UX/UI principles responsive design and product development lifecycles.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma InVision and emerging AI-enabled design platforms.
- Experience building and scaling design systems within fast-paced product environments.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills to influence stakeholders and advocate for design.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional product teams.
- Passion for innovation experimentation and staying ahead of industry trends.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland isUSD Annual per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
