Job Description
Position Description: The Medical College of Wisconsins Department of Medicine Division ofEndocrinology & Molecular Medicineis seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. This is located in Milwaukee WI at theHub for Collaborative Medicine Froedtert Hospital and Froedtert Bluemound Rehabilitation Hospital. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as part of a multidisciplinary health care team providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the patients of the inpatient diabetes service in the Division of Endocrinology & Molecular Medicine. The APP will implement and manage a plan of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including faculty APPs nurses pharmacists dieticians educators case managers and social services In this role you will be responsible for the following: Core Advanced Practice Responsibilities: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by most people assigned to this job. Preferred Schedule:
Scheduling flexibility required to provide for an appropriate level of patient care coverage. Requires some evening or weekend hours based on business
Position Requirements: Experience: Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Masters Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant
Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
