Sentara Medical Group is seeking a dynamic motivated and flexible Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with excellent relationship-building and clinical skills to join our bustling GYN clinic in South Boston. Located in a charming Virginian town on the Virginia/North Carolina border South Boston is just one hour north of Durham North Carolina and two hours south of Richmond Virginia.
Position Highlights:
- Location: South Boston VA
- Monday Friday; 9-5p
- 4 or 5 day work week options available based on your preference
- 100% Outpatient; Average of 18 patients per day
- Duties include primary care annual well-women gynecological visits pap-smears STI consults minor procedures such as colposcopies LEEPs insertion/removal of IUDs and Nexplanon and treatment of acute gynecological conditions.
- Experience in primary care or GYN required. Experience with minor procedures like colposcopies LEEPs and similar tasks is a plus but not required.
