Job Description

NBF helps customers in businesses healthcare education government residential and hospitality environments by providing individual products or total furniture and accessory solutions. However our customers define achievement we are driven to help and inspire them.

Were excited to present an Inside Sales Representativeopportunity for someone who shares our value of striving to exceed our customers expectations! During training you will work with our Inside Sales Team gaining expertise in product process selling skills and service. After successful completion of our training program youll field phone and web product inquiries from customers create quotations and enter orders. Youll handle inbound customer calls in a fast-paced environment so energy enthusiasm and a desire to WOW the customer are critical to your success!

This role is based in Milwaukee WI. During training this person will be expected to be in office Monday-Friday. Once training is complete a hybrid schedule is offered.

Heres a General Overview of What Youll Be Doing

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound calls
  • Utilize consultative selling to understand customer goals and challenges
  • Answer customer questions demonstrating product knowledge
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers that encourage trust and loyalty
  • Utilize sample and space planning programs to assist in selling process
  • Provide quotations tailored to the customers needs
  • Close and process orders
  • Develop leads and referrals working jointly with our other sales channels
  • Utilize timely follow-up to aid customers throughout the buying process
  • Provide World Class service to customers
  • Improve sales skills to increase win rate
  • Achieve monthly/annual quotas


What Were Looking For

  • 2 years of previous customer service inside sales or call center experience
  • Technical proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibit a passion for service and an ability to bond with customers over the phone
  • Capacity to effectively change direction when needed
  • Can work quickly and independently
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills a must
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Display professional presence and a positive work well with others attitude


It Would Also Be Really Great To Have

  • Associates or Bachelors degree
  • Experience working with vendors on product related inquiries
  • Previous work in office furniture or a related field
