KINNECT is expanding our reach and were on the lookout for an experienced Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join us as a contractor covering Tamworth and surrounding areas.
As a contractor with KINNECT you will bring prior experience in workplace rehabilitation and be capable of operating independently with ongoing support and guidance from your manager and our wider team.
Your Role
You will be delivering workplace rehabilitation services aimed at helping individuals re-engage in meaningful employment through a client-centered approach that promotes optimal health and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of injured workers to determine effective return-to-work strategies.
- Visiting workplaces to identify potential barriers to recovery and educating employers on injury prevention.
- Providing clinical opinions through high-quality evidence-based report writing.
- Managing complex cases and liaising with treating practitioners and health professionals to support recovery and sustainable return to work.
What Were Looking For
- Professional Accreditation: Current registration with AHPRA or ESSA accreditation.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated background in workplace rehabilitation with the ability to manage cases independently.
- Analytical Expertise: Excellent analytical and report writing skills with a focus on clear evidence-based clinical justification.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with injured workers employers and healthcare providers.
- Self-Motivation: Capable of working autonomously while staying connected to the broader team for support and guidance.
