About the role
If you are a Physiotherapist Occupational Therapist or Osteopath and looking to make a difference by giving back to the community and supporting the elders who contributed to developing our community we are a match!
We are looking for Allied Health professionals to work as part of a friendly and close-knit team at our Shanagolden site in Pakenham. Please note this role is maternity leave cover.
Your focus will be:
- Assess and design treatment programs for residents to improve or maintain current level of physical function
- Provision of group exercise classes and individualised program as required to suit the residents needs in accordance with ANACC
- Conduct mobility assessments for care and continually monitor outcomes
- Ensure accurate assessment and documentation entries are completed providing timely handover to the nursing and care staff.
About you
You are an enthusiastic motivated self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles you will need:
- Bachelor of appropriate Allied Health field with current AHPRA registration
- Expertise in assessment and the ability to design appropriate treatment programs and ensure the delivery of the program
- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with managers residents clinical and administration staff
- High level computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- The ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Available to work 2 days per week
