Secondary Music Teacher
Full time (1.0 FTE)
Commencing Term 3 2025
The College is currently seeking to appoint a gifted and energetic Music Teacher to join our team of committed professionals.

About you:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship as well as the following skills and experience:
- Experience in teaching Stage 4 and 5 Music. Experience in Stage 6 advantageous.
- relevant education and music qualifications;
- relevant instrumental and/or vocal experience; concert band and orchestra conducting or performing is advantageous
- experience in working with and leading musical ensembles including concert band choir orchestra;
- experience in conducting or a willingness to develop skills in conducting
- a strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students;
- the propensity to innovate;
- the capacity to develop programmes that differentiate learning opportunities for students;
- experience in the use of data to deliver academic improvement; and
- a commitment to teamwork transparent practice and collaboration.
- Experience in grading and assessing student learning
- Experience in report writing and other administrative tasks
- be committed to their own professional learning and growth;
- be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith;
- understand the wellbeing needs of adolescents
- be willing to actively contribute to the co-curricular life of the College.
- be a highly committed professional and have a desire make a difference in the lives of students.
