Job Description
Lab Assistant for Introduction to Medical Laboratory Technology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids. It is imperative that the assistant have knowledge in both phlebotomy and urinalysis/body fluids as you will be assisting students in the labs.
Duties
1. Assist instructor in set up for labs. 2. Responsible for knowing the course material and labs. 3. Help students complete labs appropriately. 4. Answer student questions about the course material and/or labs. 5. Assist in grading labs when directed by instructor. 6. Responsible for maintaining role in self-service.
Minimum Requirements
1. Associates Degree 2. Minimum 1 year Phlebotomy Experience 3. 2 years Lab experience in a Hospital or Doctors Office 4. MLT ASCP Certification
Preferred Qualifications
1. MLS ASCP Certification 2. Bachelors Degree
