Timberline Communications is in search of an Integration Technician to join their growing team.
Your Work that Keeps us Connected (Job Responsibilities)
- Install new BBUs into existing and new cabinets and perform power/cabling upgrades as necessary
- Load install files and integrate new carriers (daytime or maintenance window)
- Perform IXR-e installation and migration.
- Troubleshoot alarms and configuration issues.
- Complete functional and PSAP call testing.
- Complete external alarm wiring and testing.
- Complete required documentation and close out packages.
- Work with warehouse to schedule equipment deliveries and pickups.
- Daily travel to cell sites throughout New England.
Signal Strength (Qualifications)
- Previous experience with Ericsson and Samsung BBU installation integration and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working in and around power plants and batteries.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must be able to climb ladders work on rooftop sites and work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
- No tower climbing required.
