Job Description
Position Title: Preschool Paraprofessional Location:QRSD Integrated PreschoolReports to: Building Principal/Director of Student Support ServicesQualifications: Associates Degree or Pass Para-Pro ExamExperience working with students in classroom setting including special education and those with behavioral challengesKnowledge of effective instructional techniques and strategiesExcellent oral & written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with students co-workers and parents when neededMust have good attention to detail and be alert at all timesMust be a positive role modelAbility to remain calm and patient at all timesResponsibilities: Provide adequate supervision of students at all timesProvide instructional support to students either individually or in small groupsTake direction from teachers and administration and BCBAAssist classroom teacher with daily lessons and classroom activitiesMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information and materialOther duties as assignedSalary: Per Para-Professional Bargaining Unit ContractThe Quaboag Regional School District ensures equal employment and educational opportunities for its employees and programs services courses of study and activities are made available without regard to race color religion national origin sex sexual orientation gender identity disability or homelessness in compliance with federal and state law.
