Inclusion Assistant Richmond September 2025 Start
Location: Richmond upon Thames South West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

A caring and community-focused secondary school in Richmond is looking for an Inclusion Assistant to join their dedicated pastoral and SEN team. This Inclusion Assistant role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in inclusive education and supporting vulnerable pupils.
As an Inclusion Assistant you will help students with additional needs to access learning regulate behaviour and build confidence in school. Youll work both in the classroom and in a specialist inclusion base.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
- Running pastoral check-ins and intervention groups
- Promoting inclusion and engagement in learning
- Working alongside SENCO and behaviour leads
- Supporting teachers with strategies and differentiation
Were looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Psychology Sociology or a related subject
- A calm and empathetic approach
- An interest in special needs inclusion or behaviour
- Commitment to the full academic year
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees even with a UK Masters. Sponsorship is not available so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
