Role: Factory Production Management-HVAC Domain

Location: Gurgaon

About the role:

Seeking a detail -oriented and experienced Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end assembly operations of our air conditioning unit manufacturing line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production planning quality control team performance process improvement and ensuring on-time delivery in a cost-effective and safe manner.

Key Responsibility

  • Plan organize and control the assembly line operations for Light commercial product.

  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower materials and machines).

  • Implement and maintain production standards procedures and quality control systems.

  • Monitor Production KPIs and ensure adherence to safety quality & compliance standards.

  • Coordinate with procurement warehouse engineering and quality control departments.

  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and motivate production staff to achieve performance and safety goals.

  • Identify and troubleshoot production bottlenecks or delays.

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with operators(s) while effectively resolving performance/capability issues through close co-ordination with key stakeholders like process engineering quality supply chain to ensure alignment with business requirements.

  • Must have good analytical abilities to assess the production performance on daily monthly and annual basis against criteria such as efficiency labour and material productivity quality

  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships with operators.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

  • Experience - 10-15 Yrs. Experience in Production management preferably in HVAC related manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems components & assembly processes. Familiar with Lean manufacturing six sigma & Quality management system. Proven experience in leading assembly line operations and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent organizational problem solving and communication abilities. Proficient in production planning software and ERP system.

  • Experience in ISO -9001 certified environments.

  • Working knowledge of health & Safety standards.

  • Factory based role with frequent exposure to machinery and production floor activities.
