This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead both the Suicide Prevention Service and The Way Back Support Service two programs now coming together into a unified thriving space. This position is on a fixed-term 2 year contract.
We are seeking a resilient and visionary leader who can nurture a culture of care reflection and vitality - especially as the team continues to evolve through meaningful change.
You will bring a rich understanding of psychosocial approaches trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive frameworks. Although the program is non-clinical youll navigate critical interfaces with clinical mental health systems and contribute to strengthening whole of community responses.

Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team through ongoing change embedding a culture of wellbeing collaboration and professional growth
Championing culturally centred practice ensuring support services are inclusive respectful and responsive to First Nations and culturally diverse communities
Overseeing program operations managing quality assurance budgets risk and service performance to maximise impact across suicide prevention and postvention initiatives
Driving innovation and service development incorporating lived experience strengthening external partnerships and shaping evidence based trauma-informed models of care
To thrive in this role you will have:
Degree level qualification in a Human Services discipline: Social Work Community Services Psychology Allied Health and extensive equivalent experience / Mental Health accreditation
Extensive experience in suicide prevention postvention and grief support and knowledge of the broader service sector
Proven ability to work with First Nations communities and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Newly Arrived and emerging communities
Proven leadership and management ability including the ability to work under broad direction exercise original thinking and drive service innovation
