Reports to:Building Principal
Position Purpose:
This position will work with students in grades 9-12 to develop individual plans for college and career success after high school. CCR advocates will work directly with families and students to discuss test scores course selection future plans grades attitudes soft skills scholarships financial aid and other aspects helping students prepare for life after high school. CCR Advocate will provide students with experiences to explore post secondary institutions and opportunities in the workplace.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to interact with staff and to meet demands from several people.
Length of Contract: Classified 9-month contract; 8 hours/day.
Performance Responsibilities:
They shall include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Terms of Employment:
9 month at a 1.0 FTE;salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Support Service Personnel.
