The company was founded with a vision to help customers take the healthier route by eating right staying active and building healthy habits. It has grown exponentially with strong unit economics and is now looking to expand its team across multiple roles.
About the role:
Were looking for a Product Development Manager to lead the creation of innovative high-quality wellness products at Fitelo. Youll drive end-to-end development-from formulation to launch-ensuring FSSAI compliance great taste and consumer benefits. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to bring functional foods supplements and nutraceuticals to life in a fast-paced health-tech environment.

Were looking for a Product Development Manager to lead the creation of innovative high-quality wellness products at Fitelo. Youll drive end-to-end development-from formulation to launch-ensuring FSSAI compliance great taste and consumer benefits. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to bring functional foods supplements and nutraceuticals to life in a fast-paced health-tech environment.
Specifically this role will involve:
- Design formulations with a focus on taste efficacy compliance (FSSAI) and shelf-life stability.
- Manage product sampling iterations and the feedback loop.
- Handle FSSAI compliance labeling nutritional panels and ingredient approvals.
- Coordinate with legal and quality assurance teams for documentation.
- Benchmark competition and identify whitespace opportunities in wellness trends.
- Support launches with data on functional claims dosage and consumer benefits.
- Work with marketing content and e-commerce teams to support GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy.
- Liaise with the design team for packaging inputs and USPs.
- Lead end-to-end development of nutraceuticals supplements and functional food products
- including teas tablets protein powders etc.
- Relevant experience in food formulation or nutraceutical development.
- Good understanding of FSSAI regulations and food label compliance.
- Proficient in Excel Google Sheets and basic documentation
- Creative resourceful and execution-focused.
- / in Food Technology Food Processing or related field.
